Handlung

Nachdem sich Caleb am Wochenende seines Highschool-Abschlusses im Jahr 2011 beim Sex mit HIV infiziert haben könnte, muss der schwule Teenager aus Miami drei Monate damit zubringen, auf sein Testergebnis zu warten.cite-ref-advocate-comcooper-1-0[1]

Bei Three Months handelt es sich um das Regiedebüt von Jared Frieder, der auch das Drehbuch schrieb.cite-ref-advocate-comcooper-1-1[1] Im Jahr 2019 wurde dieses in die „Black List“ von GLAAD der vielversprechendsten unverfilmten Drehbücher mit LGBTQ+-Thematik aufgenommen.cite-ref-2[2]cite-ref-3[3]
